![]() ![]() Idk what people think they're achieving by reinstalling those. Most of the time, people report the issue coming back soon after it goes away, meaning the issue appears more random than persistent. I'd use DX12 and call it a day, except DX12 crashes the display driver for me regularly in this game.Īll of these so-called "fixes" are not fixes at all. This cursor issue only happens in Vulkan for me and not DX12. Turning pointer trails on makes the mouse invisible, yes, but it also makes the cursor you want to see in the map and game menus invisible as well, which is not a fix at all. ![]() This is only a temporary fix to make RDR2 at least playable until Rockstar comes up with a fix. So some other games you people play will also be affected by keeping this enabled and may render other games or apps completely unable to be played. (seems DirectX12, windows 10 are mainly the culprit for this problem)Įdit: I reported this to Rockstar Games and how i fixed it so maybe this will help them pinpoint the problem and fix it on their side (without us needing to do all these steps □)Įdit2: WARNING : It's advised to disable the mouse pointer trail after playing RDR2, since enabling this will actually glitch out and disable visual cursors in all games running vulkan engine, python engine games. In advanced graphics settings, change renderer to Vulkan (Not DirectX12).Go to mouse settings in Control Panel (Windows Settings), enable Display Pointer Trail (and set it to short so it doesn't bother you). ![]()
